DD Adams For Congress Facebook

Wanted to share a message I received today about the shutdown. What has been done at the expense of everyday hardworking Americans is outrageous. We are better than this!
"DD I just want you to know, I worked a 10-hour shift, as a nurse for a solider with a brain tumor yesterday. He was diagnosed 6 days ago. Married his girlfriend of 4 years the morning before surgery. It is so demoralizing to get out of that to see this shutdown. To me it means I go to work, but don't get paid. But my bills are due just the same. I had a surgeon call me from home asking what happens on Monday. And everyone at the military hospital is worried. Please, just know how this affects us."

BREAKING: Senate Democrats just asked for unanimous consent to pass an extension of CHIP. McConnell objected. Who is to blame?

@streetnoodle @MariteRodz @krassenstein We are seriously loving on @DDAdamsCongress in the 5th district. Shes going to take down Virginia Foxx. We just need a final decision on the redistricting.. Supreme Court knocked us back a little this week, we are hopeful for fair redrawing in time for this election..

Wow! What an amazing day! I'm so inspired by the people I talked with... I am more convinced than ever that NOW is OUR time, but I need everyone's help - $1 $5 $10 $20 - whatever you can do will help us get there! With my gratitude for you all
